Privacy Policy
In effect from October 20, 2026
01:00 — About this policy
CircadianHerSpace is a body-clock resource for women in their forties and beyond, published under that trade name by an independent operator. It explains how light, meal timing, daytime movement and cool, dark nights can support steadier days. This policy walks through a typical visit in time order and describes, at each point, what information is involved. In it, “you” means a Riser, our word for anyone who visits circadianherspace.com or reads Sunrise Notes, and “the Space” means the website, its live clock, the planner and the newsletter together.
02:00 — When you arrive
The sky and clock at the top of the page change colour with the time of day. To do that, the page reads the time from your own device. It does not ask for your location, does not use GPS and does not send the time back to us.
At the same moment our hosting provider records ordinary request data (IP address, browser and operating system, the page requested, the referring page and a timestamp). Our analytics tool counts the visit in aggregate.
03:00 — When you use the planner
The planner asks for two things: the time you usually wake up and how many hours of sleep you are aiming for. It then suggests windows for morning light, meals, movement, winding down and lights out. Those calculations run inside your browser. The values you choose are not transmitted to us, are not tied to your email address and disappear when you close or refresh the page.
Planner suggestions are general estimates for adults and are not a sleep assessment, treatment plan or medical device.
04:00 — When you subscribe to Sunrise Notes
If you enter your email address, we use it to send Sunrise Notes every Monday morning: one small habit, one light tip and one recipe that fits the rhythm. Our email provider stores your address and gives us summary statistics about delivery, opens and clicks. You can leave at any time with the unsubscribe link in every issue or by writing to support@circadianherspace.com; we honour requests promptly and always within the ten business days allowed by the CAN-SPAM Act.
05:00 — When you write to us
If you email us, we receive your address, your name if you include it and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and to keep a record of the conversation. Please do not send details of diagnoses, medications, hormone therapy or test results; we are not clinicians and cannot advise on them.
06:00 — Behind the scenes
A few trusted providers help us run the Space. Each processes information only on our behalf.
| Provider type | What it receives | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Website hosting | Request data and server logs | Deliver pages, keep the Space secure |
| Email delivery | Subscriber address, engagement summaries | Send Sunrise Notes and handle unsubscribes |
| Aggregate analytics | Page views, device type, approximate region | Understand which pages help readers |
Cookies and similar technologies are limited to those the site needs to load and those the analytics tool uses to count visits. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting tags or social-network pixels.
07:00 — Health-related information
Topics such as sleep, night sweats, hot flashes and menopause relate to health. Several states, including Washington under its My Health My Data Act, Nevada and Connecticut, give special protection to consumer health data. Because the planner works on your device and we do not ask for symptoms, we hold very little that could reveal your health. The one item that might be viewed as health-related is the fact that you subscribe to a newsletter on these topics. We use that fact solely to deliver Sunrise Notes, never sell it, never use it for advertising and disclose it only to the email provider that sends the newsletter. You may withdraw consent and ask us to delete it at any time.
08:00 — What we never do
- sell personal information or exchange it for anything of value;
- share it for targeted or cross-context behavioural advertising;
- pass subscriber lists to data brokers, partners or sponsors; or
- infer conditions, life stage or other sensitive traits about individual readers.
Information may be disclosed only where the law compels it, to protect someone’s safety or our rights, or to a successor operator of the Space, who would be bound by this policy for information already collected.
09:00 — Your rights, by region
| Where you live | Rights available | How we respond |
|---|---|---|
| Any U.S. state | Unsubscribe; ask what we hold; ask us to delete it | Within 30 days |
| States with comprehensive privacy laws (e.g. California, Colorado, Virginia, Oregon, Texas) | Know, access, correct, delete, portability, opt out of sale, sharing and targeted ads; appeal a refusal | Within 45 days, extendable once as the law allows; appeals within the statutory period |
| EEA, UK, Switzerland | Access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, object, withdraw consent, complain to a supervisory authority | Within one month |
To make a request, email support@circadianherspace.com from the address the request concerns, or tell us how we can verify it. We do not charge for requests and will not penalise you for making one. Global Privacy Control signals are treated as a valid opt-out. An authorised agent may act for you with your signed permission. For visitors from Europe, our legal bases are consent (newsletter) and legitimate interests (security and aggregate analytics); our providers are in the United States, and we rely on standard contractual clauses or comparable safeguards for transfers.
10:00 — When you leave
If you unsubscribe, your address is placed on a do-not-send list and otherwise removed from active mailing. Correspondence is kept for up to two years and then deleted. Server logs are overwritten on a rolling basis, generally within three months. Aggregate statistics contain no personal details and may be kept indefinitely.
11:00 — Keeping information safe
The Space is served over HTTPS, vendor accounts are protected with strong authentication, and access is limited to those who need it. If a breach affecting your information occurs, we will notify you and any authority as the law requires.
12:00 — Age
The Space is written for adult women and is not directed at anyone under 18. Information from children below 13 is never knowingly gathered. A parent or guardian who believes a child has subscribed may ask us to delete the address.
13:00 — Updates to this policy
If we revise this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. For a change that meaningfully affects subscribers, we will give notice in Sunrise Notes at least two weeks beforehand.
